1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

So is the gun a shooter or would this be meant as a collector piece only? Of course i guess if one buys it they may do as they please. Just curious as to the importance of it being a VA State Police gun.

Matt, S&W has made a lot of commemorative handguns. The last I checked, there had been a similar one commemorating the Pennsylvania Game Commission for sale on GunsAmerica for several months. These things can appeal to collectors in the area of the organization being commemorated.

Thanks Ed. I'm not real up on the collector aspect of the gun world. I wouldn't be able to leave the gun alone and would probably ruin its collector value after i ran several hundred rounds thru it the first day i got it. :)

I just don't own any guns i can't/won't shoot. Just me.

It is a very nice looking set-up and i'm sure somebody will snatch it up. Good luck with the sale.

    Free Bump.
