They just don't have the horsepower to go real deep. Both daughters were college atheletes and been around soccer for a long time now. It's a good game and will grow on you. I like it, most just have to give it a try. The mens side is real tough. The women can go deeper and they are great to watch.

I tried to watch it but it was so boring I stopped.
Can't believe soccor will ever become popular with
    Americans. Not enough action.

Soccer is a game played by Eurotrash, commies, and socialists. What would it say about this country if we put a competive team in the World Cup? There are some things you just don't want to be good at: communism, drunkeness, wife beating, soccer............

Watching Trapshooting and not participating would be like watching a fresh batch of floated concrete cure. A trap championship would be the worse to watch. I'd rather watch all "D" shooters just shoot. Might see a real competition. This is not a knock at "D" shooters, I'm no Harlen Campbell.

Bisi, I wouldn't even know where to start an agument with your logic. Must be DB mentality that I don't get. Next thing in your wisdom you'll be trying to convince me that a 350-500 pound trapshooter is an athelete. Wish I could post pictures of some big boys I know (yes, I have a weight issue also). I'm not an athelete and couldn't run or keep moving for 90 min. straight like a soccer player.

Trapshooting is it a sport or activity? I lean toward activity. There is more body movement in lawn darts, horseshoes, croquette or even cornhole. All require concentration and a repetative amount of skill to be good at it.

Soccer is one of the most violent and injury prone games in the world. Your only safety or protection is a jock and shin guards. There are more hyper extended knees, blown hips , broken arms and legs, concussions, open wounds, to say nothing of foot injuries, etc., than any other sport in the world. Even Rugby is tame compared to what competitors do to each other in soccer. Parents should think twice about letting the kids get involved with soccer. It is a sanctioned sport where it is acceptable to trip, hit, kick, punch fall on, slap, gouge, ruin competitors eyes and just generally mutilate opponents in the name of sport. Of course, the opponent was only going for the ball. Generally the injuries will last for a lifetime. I officiate too many games not to see these things. If the kids are having a bad day, they get to relieve their aggression/hate on their opponents in soccer in unbelievable ways.
