Got it today. It's all apart. Am awaiting the new replacement sears from Italy.
Marcello called this morning and said he'd sent them out to have the tips hardened, and has already sent me some newly manufactured plungers.
Your sears were worked on by an amateur-I don't mean that in a nasty way. It's just that it must be done correctly. They ground the rear cuts at an angle (need to be square with themselves), and each one has a different angle to it. I'm not comfortable with using them now that I had a close look at them.
Also, upon disassembly I noticed the right (lower barrel) sear spring plunger was missing. This would affect trigger pull differences.
When I get the replacement sears, I will also install the trigger selector that we initially tried to do.
Other than the above it is a nice trigger. I assume that whoever removed the release hooks, probably exchanged the sears.
Whiz, I have an older striped receiver Perazzi TM1 that I lost 4 inchs off the barrel due to a piece of wad becoming wedged between the barrel and the choke. I'd like to know if there is a replaceable barrel available in 34 inch with choke tubes and what it would cost. Thanks for any help in finding something. Don
