Looks like the magic tape is magic.. thank you all for the help with my daughter, in two practices and one competition (at Montgomery county shooting complex last weekend) her average went from 16 to 21, all we did was add the tape to her left lens.. as you can see in the picture she got her FIRST 25 last weekend at the competition.. it would have been a long time coming if it were not for the help from you all! thanks again!!

What exactly does the tape do?

    Congrats to your daughter.

It helps with eye cross dominance, or with folks who are not really strongly dominant.

You place tape on the "off eye" glasses lens so the off eye cannot see the barrel of the gun, but when looking straight forward, one can still use both eyes to look at the target.

It kind of forces the eye lined up with the barrel to be dominant.

congrats to you & your daughter. according to the experts, the majority of females are left eye dominate. I've been wearing the patch for 4 years now. keep shooting

I also am left eye dominent. I have found thinking about keeping my chin on the gun until after shooting helps. I also make a point to not be in a hurry to take the gun down from my shoulder after firing. This messure assists in making me keep my chin on the comb. Nice going! Jim

I have the esteemed pleasure of picking up my daughter and her classmates to take them to trap practice once each week. Something special about beautiful girls walking out the front door of their high school (Catholic school that is) with their shotguns in hand...

Way to go !!!! I to must use tape and have been doing it for years. If it works use it. It is so great to see a father taking so much intrest in what she is doing and that she loves doing something you are doing. You remind me of my dad. Keep up the good work young lady and in no time We all will be reading about your first 100!!!
