I've never used an unsingle/high rib barrel previously. Years ago, used a mid single KS-5, but never an unsingle. I acquired a trapgun that came with both a top and an unsingle 34" barrel. What are the advantages/disadvantages of the high ribbed, adjustable unsingle barrel? I believe the configuration should, in theory, reduce felt recoil. But are there other advantages, or does the configuration merely answer questions that nobody ever asked before? I admit, I like the aesthetics, but aesthetics do not break targets.

Thanks.....I note that HIGH ribbed unsingles that look very impressive are becomming more popular.
