The union head of the AFL-CIO was on tv raising hell about the healthcare plan to tax "Cadillac" health plans. What a hoot! Aren't these clowns, the ones who have been pushing for national healthcare for years? Now that they are going to get it, they are upset that they may be asked to help pay for it? Who other than the unions have the most "Cadillac" health plans?

    Union clowns!

These three kids are sitting around talking, and the first kid says, "My dad is so fast, he can shoot an arrow down range and run down there to see where it lands".

The second little kid says, "That's nothing, my dad is so fast, when he goes to sleep at night and turns off the lights, he can be in bed before the room gets dark".

The third little kid says, "I got all you guys beat. My dad is in the Teamsters. He's so fast that when he gets off of work at 4:30, he's home by 2:15".

Brought to you by the non union workers of America. Unlike you, I work for a living.

They got thrown under the bus when the communists didn't need them anymore. These dumb bastards don't know that they are the "rich" that their elected one promised he would go after.

Typical communist tactic. Ally with anyone to get into power, then eliminate all of your allies.

Just read the story of Ho Chi Minh.

Being a Teamster I object to that remark.I worked 12-13 hrs a day for 22 years driving a tractor trailer with no accidents and no injuries EVER.So you understand I worked a year and a half for every year most people work.I missed my kids growing up and NEVER ate dinner with my family being at work, to make ends meet and pay the bills.I also worked for every dollar I made and voluntarily contributed extra money toward my pension fund to retire early.I could make derogatory comments about the non union workforce, but I am above that.Do I or have I ever agreed to what union officials have done or will do,absolutely not.I have on many occasions argued with union reps on numerous issues. We are all in the same boat ,making a living and getting by.

I thought the communists running the country were going to put in an exemption for the union commies that elected them. They want to hurt the "rich" with good health care plans without hurting the unions with good health care plans. Looks like they are having a little trouble with that. Union idiots.

The government can provide universal health care that is better, cheaper and more efficient that the private sector. We will all benefit. And cow farts cause global warming.

I don't know about you guys but there are good conservative union members too. I was a machinist for 11 years working in a electric motor rebuilding facility. In order to get the job I was required to join the IBEW. When the union reps came to our shop they soon learned not to talk to me unless they wanted to hear the truth about the crooks they supported. The worst thing of all was that they used my dues to support jerks like Al Gore. I'm now in a management position in Florida and loving it. I do feel sorry for the guys like me that are still STUCK paying for those they don't support.

To all you guys that are throwing your AARP postage paid envelopes in the trash, please don't do that. I just mailed one back last week to them with a 5 oz. piece of steel taped real good on the inside. I bet it cost them a few bucks.

I worked for a little while in a post office. I didn't join a union, unless they did it without my knowledge. I remember butting heads over politics. Most lived conservative but voted liberal because that is what their union said to do. I didn't last very long as a government employee. Sad that all people in the medical profession will soon be government employees. I think all this socialism is to prepare us for the one world government to come. You have to ease people into the loss of freedom.

None of the rhetoric going on now will be remembered in the final health bill. Most of the current bally-hooing is more smoke-n-mirrors designed to get the single-payer, public-option control of big-capital these socialists want and need. 35% of every dollar they take in will go directly to them, not your care.

In reality, there has never been a more bias, conniving, lying, bigoted, prejudiced class of people, in control of our government, in our history. They thrive on situational ethics that, is in reality, no ethics at all.

I've been in a unique position all my adult life, serving in both union and non-union positions for 40+ years. Until we, as a Sportsman/Working Class, stop feeding on each other's collective positions, and start focusing on the actual individual performance of our union, non-union and governmental leaders we will continue to be flushed down the tube by them. Divided, is conquered - it's that simple, and it's intentional.

There's a reality check coming for all of us in 2010, we'll need each other more, not less when it arrives.

    IMHO,
    Kip

Likes to shoot, why even bring up Republicans? They are irrelevant. The Democrap party rules, they control the White House, House, and a filibuster proof Senate. They can and are going to do anything they want. You can’t blame the other party when they are completely out of power.

l.t.s, You are right. After the last administration could not get it's act together, the people elected a guy who said he would act transparent, eliminate special interest in Washington, debate national decisions. Lies, Lies, Lies. To me, this jerk insulted our intelligence. He really thinks the American people are too stupid to see what he's done. He is a bigger a-hole than RINO Bush was by far. He's a puppet, and a very inexperienced one.

I'm not union, but I would sure rather have work go to American union workers than to India where my last employers shipped all the jobs.

Look, there's a lot of sides to this issue but its also true that unions have for years accepted benefits in lieu of salary increases in negotiations. Now we want to treat them like they are some rich grifters and I don't think that's right.

I'd rather see them take the bonuses from all those f*^$&ing bankers on Wall Street.

I'd rather see them tax the crap out of profit made by American companies off of jobs they outsourced to India, China, and Timbukto.

I have some union friends...construction trades...they can't support their family and many of them can't get enough hours in order to qualify for their medical benefits. They are sucking hind wind just like a lot of the rest of us.
