    From a March 1st Associated Press (AP)report:

A power failure that plunged large parts of Florida into the dark this week was caused primarily by human error, the state's largest electric company said.

Florida Power & Light issued a preliminary report Friday saying that a field engineer was to blame for Tuesday's failure, which affected more than 584,000 customers, or the equivalent of more than 1 million people.

In a clear case of ambiguous reporting the AP attributes the cause of last week's state wide Florida power outage on human error and an engineer. Seems to me its either one or the other. They can't have it both ways.

Yes, Sissy, a human engineer is an oxymoron.

Well did the engineer have real life experiecne before he he bacame one?

Or did ha become an engineer and then go looking for the experience?

Either way I look to Admiral R. the father of out nuceal Navy, "Most engineers are overpaid DRAFTSMAN!"

And they let then out into the field!

The issue of becoming “human” or even more “human like” is that the matrix is populated with more unknown variables than equations; thus the human condition cannot be discretely solved without assigning arbitrary values to one or more of the variables in an iterative process of elimination.

I’ve been working on this for years. I feel better about myself just knowing that there are others out there just like me.
