Unbending From The Waist

    I'd like to know if any of you unbend from the waist as you swing to the bird? Dick Bennett is the only one I've read who says to do it. Never heard Kiner, Hoppe or others mention doing that. Just some input, please.

    Uncoiling from the waist is probably a good idea for shooting Skeet where the angles are more extreme but in Trap the angles aren't that extreme especially since 96 or so! You wanna avoid swinging with only the arms in either discipline.

    Most shooters lock the upper body (many trapshooters have no choice in this LOL) and move with their knees and hips.

    What was said about NOT moving the gun only with the arms is cardinal. This causes all kinds of problems, mostly lost targets.
