Uglifying 101: The palm swell.

    As some of you know, I made the switch a month ago from Autoloader to an O/U (Krieghoff Pro Sporter) and the out-of-box feel just wasn't right. I added an adjustable butt plate and Gooey pad and the feel was a lot better...but, that damn factory universal palm swell is about useless and I can't imagine it working with anyone. In fact, it's probably worse than no palm swell at all. So, once again, I take a beautiful gun and tape on a palm swell and the fit is now nearly perfect!

    But...it sure is ugly.

    A shotgun is just a tool used to break clays, doesn't matter what it looks like as long as it fits! Would you rather break 50's with a ugly gun or 35's with one with nice wood!

    It is all just BS. He is just using the ugly tape to cover the "RELEASE" sticker.

    I wounder if this new piece will intimidate "NAVY SHOOTER"

    Not even close to what Verna did with the Rat Grip. That was a masterpiece of uglification.

    Yes Sportshot, that's all I do now. OH, and tanda1, you aint just whistling dixie there.....that is the most bastardized K80 I've ever laid eyes on. What a tool (I'm speaking of Don).

    Never should have switched just wasting your children's inheritance along with your average. You may be better off modifying your hand
