    Gentlemen:

From time to time I've written about the Congressional Progressive Caucus. With 80 members, it is the single largest caucus in Congress.

With one exception, the membership consists entirely of democrat members of the U.S. House. Bernie Sanders is the exception. He's a senator and a self described socialist. Predictably, Sanders always votes with democrats. Birds of a feather so to speak.

Congressman Danny Davis represents the 7th Congression District of Illinois.** He has since Jan. 1997. Davis is big buds with obummer. obummer thinks highly of him. Davis is a member of the Progressive Caucus. He's is also a proud member of the Democratic Socialists of America. Isn't that special?

Davis gets a special mention today. Congrats are in order don't ya know. The U.S. Communist Party just recognized Davis as one of the best Congressmen in the country. You can read about it at the link.

Doesn't it give you the warm and fuzzies knowng trash like this is helping write the laws we live by??

** It isn't really Illinois. It's CROOK County. The 7th includes the Near North Side and downtown Chicago as well as some of the west and south sides of city and some west suburban areas.

Keep in mind he has to get votes to get elected. More leaches in the cities than any other place. And he is buying votes by giving more free handouts at the rest of us expense.Pretty simple really.

So, today, it is announced the Justice Dept will be monitoring the election process in Cook County so that the minority voters will not be denied their right to vote.

Maybe they and the UN can share resources in their endeavors.

    Don't you just love it?

    Mr. Barker:

Here's the sad reality. Eighty of the current 198 House democrats are members of the Progressive Caucus. That's a full 40%. Even that is a bit understated. Minority Leader Pelosi is a former member. She only dropped out to become Speaker during the 111th.

It amazes me that Davis, a sitting member of Congress, is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America. However, he isn't unique. Many Congressional progressive dems are members of one socialist organization or other. You can google their names and find most of it listed in their political biographies.

He isn't even unique in his public association with communist organizations. One must dig a little deeper to find it in reliable sources but its there. A former Progressive Caucus chair and current House member helped a communist organization with a fund raiser.

Everybody needs to understand who the enemy is. Please vote accordingly. Better yet, do some campaigning for the GOP prez candidate of your choice. Whatever their flaws may be, none of them are proud socialists.
