I hate to be the one to tell you this but twice the shot for half the price differs by a factor (multiply) of 4, not 2. You've claimed to double your yield not quad-druple it. You didn't say how you halved the price. Try taking 2 accuracy pills in the morning for 3 weeks. We'll see what happens.

    Sheesh.

Melt the lead, make number eight shot, load five sixteenths of a ounce, fifty shells. You now doubled your 25# bag output.

Actually, Tony, your yield will be about three times as much shot. One #4 shot weighs about 3 times as much as a #8 shot if you compare the results of doing the volume/weight formula of each size pellet. The formula for the volume of a sphere is (4/3)X(3.14)X(radius cubed). .....Rick

Poacherjoe I think according to the above math you can get 4 bags of shot.

Thanks a lot halfmile. I didn't have any $1000 Bills so I tried melting the $100 bills to make $20s. Well you owe me $200, the things didn't melt, they just burned up in the skillet.

Sounded like a good idea at first.
