The Cottage Grove - Eugene Sportsmens Club is hosting a turkey shoot on Sunday, 11/18/07, 10AM and you're guaranteed a bird (even if you shoot poorly) by entering 5 rounds or more for just $20. Three traps will operate for "Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced" shooters. There will be a special event for just $1 to fire at and break 3 challenging hard right birds at distance for a pound of bacon and there will be a 5 stand open as well. Other games are bound to blossom for the strong at heart....We will - breakemall....Bob Dodd

Bob: Going to be in Portland over the Christmas holidays looking for a place to move to. How far away is Cottage Grove/Eugene from Portalnd? Is it Oregon U. in Eugene or State? We have talked over the internet a year ago and the move is getting more serious. Please e-mail so we can talk some more. Fred. fssberson@aol.com

Both of you have mail - Fred, my first post here wouldn't go so just e-mail back with any questions. Off hand, though, the U of OR is in Eugene and the State University is in Corvallis, about 40 miles north on the old highway, west of Albany which is on I-5...Bob Dodd

Well, we had good rain throughout the shoot today but had a very good turnout. We had several of the kids from an 0-Yes training day yesterday that wouldn't quit in yesterdays rain and came back for more today. Gary Fogelson and Daro Handy attended going head to head for frozen birds and both got beat once in a while. The 5 stand was well attended and several lbs of bacon disappeared on the "Very-hard-right-at-long-distance" test. There were TV cameras and reporters interested as well. Thanks to all that showed the heart to come and enjoy....breakemall....Bob Dodd
