This is probably a long shot but is there any information, instructions, etc about how to "tune" a K-80 release trigger other than sending it to a 'smith?

Eric- It is not difficult but I would recommend a trigger scale. There are two cams with a large screw in the middle of them. They look like steel disks but the hole is off centered. Turning the cams just a little will adjust the release triggers. Make sure the screws holding the cams is staked in place after you adjust them.
