Our kids will have to live the consequences of this election. What will it be? What will you do?

What will you tell your kids, grandkids, great-grandkids when they ask you, "What happened to this country?; what did you do?"

Vote Tuesday for our kids' future.

True story.....I live in IL and a good friend of mine went to vote early....As he was waiting to go into the polling place a bus full of mentally handicapped individuals from the inner city that were of legal age were chaperoned into to voting booths to make sure they "understood" their ballots and choices....I have a guess who they were voting for and the only thing I can say is how appropriate!

That is my plan as well.

Why would you vote solely against an incumbent?! What if the incumbent voted the way you wanted?!

I voted early for folks who represent my interests and my wallet - they were a combination of incumbents and challengers...

    regards,

    Jay

Right on Spitter!!! We need to make INFORMED decisions and think through our ability to cast a vote for our conscience or our ethical values. Just voting a straight party or a knee-jerk vote does not serve this republic well....

The next 2 years we need to hold those that we did vote for and won, ACCOUNTABLE for every vote they cast,,,,if they cast even ONE vote WITHOUT reading the bill,,,,the have to go in 2012 regardless of party,,,,if you want the job,,,,THEN _DO_ THE JOB!!!!

Barry i'm trying. Where I live it is pretty conserative, with the excepion of the union and town employees but they all vote their pocketbooks. I wqas talking to a town worker today he was showing me their voting handout all dems and supported by SEIU. Cambridge and Concord the Birthplace of Freedom and Liberty are so liberal, it makes me want to puke driving thru their towns.

we will see Tomorrow. Ole Barney may go down so to speak, it is close. Sean Bielat is giving him a run for his money. I hope Mass. doesnt sit this wave out.
    It's political porn for me.

I got a call from a political worker a few minutes ago and when he told me who he was calling for (state representative, Democrat) I lit into him telling him why I wouldn't piss in the guys mouth if his throat was on fire. His response was " I don't care if you vote for him or not do you know where to go to vote. LOL

I did absentee just to see what the fuss was about. Easy... one mark and seal up the envelope and mail it.

I'm having a hard time writing this 'cause I don't wish to unfairly insult any of my friends here on TS.com....but I feel the need to point out...
    IF you actually "vote-your-wallet" FIRST....
you're saying to the world that one of your most sacred "possessions" is for sale to the highest bidder.
There's a word for people like that...(they're even legal in Clark Co. Nevada...)but I shudder to think they, or their kind to control our nation's future.

When it's time to vote....I try my best to find candidates who will (in my humble opinion) be the best for my city, my county, my state, and my nation.
Somehow or other...when those folks have won...I've been OK.

This election needs more write-ins. The fools and clowns the Dems and Reps are offering just don't cut it.

Sorry ran200---I could never vote for a party that will someday take my guns.
Can't think of many in the DEM party that don't support gun control---When you close your eyes and smell a fish you can't tell if it's the head or tail---
Remember that when you vote---The LIBS will take all our rights if when they get the chance---I voted for a LIB once(a friend)Never thought he would join in with the LIB agenda---Wrong---He supported all the LIBS and never tried to see it the REPB way---I'll never vote for a LIB again unless they change---
    HOLD YOUR BREATH---MO---MYSTIC---

Voted straight Republican since the late sixties when affirmative action was passed.Never voted for a Dim, must have helped start a trend because today the Dim State House(Alabama) goes R for first time in 136 years and most of my neighbors now vote straight R. The other party turned on me before I turned on it. Elephants(Crimson Tide) never forget.
