Looking for something thats good for day to day use.

I'm using RIG grease now, and it works flawlessly, but its messy (I don't want to put my gun directly into my americase when its still covered in RIG, I've been putting it in gun socks, which further adds to the pain in the butt factor), and takes considerable time to apply and remove.

I'm hoping to find something I can apply and not have to worry about removing before I use the gun again. Also hoping for something that I can apply to my gun, then put my gun into the case w/ out worrying about it making a mess.

I have to apply fairly religiously, as my gun will rust pretty quickly if its humid outside or there is a temperature differential (taking a cold gun into a warm house). I find myself spending 5-10 minutes a day in the middle of a shoot b/w applying and removing the RIG grease.

It's my understanding that there were 14 200s today.

I'll post the scores in the morning.

Gary Bonetti of CA outlasted the rest in a dandy shoot-off after somewhere around 225 or so targets!!

Thankyou Hap, my body like yours was tired. I saw Leo out there, got a little sentimental, New there was two younger fellows that could hold there own in shoot-off. When it got down to 5 , then one of 5 dropped right angle. I went home. About 7:30 PM. Ricky Marshall dropped a right angle in his last 25.
The boys kept up quite a pace. Definately got my attention.
    802 shooters, no 200's in A Class
    I shot a 97/96 , Got a little lazy. Been a wonderful shoot.

See you all next year !!!!
Better get ready for Handicap, I'm on first out. 9:00 am

    All the Best!!

    Today's handicap , awesome, broke 96 from 26.5 yd.
Two 99's , Smitty (27yd.) won after 3 rounds of shoot off.
Both 99's shot well in shoot-off, 2 Men shot very well.
