All I can say is WOW!!! They are addding alot of traps. We here in Arizona are very lucky to have facilities like this. It looks like this is going to move Tucson Further up the "top line trap club" list. There aren't many clubs that can compare anywhere in the country. Great job by the folks at Tucson Trap and Skeet club. They should change the name to "TUCSON WORLD SHOOTING COMPLEX".

    Donm,

Those of us who live in Arizona refer to the weather in August as warm, people who do not live here call it HOT ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Maybe Sims or one of the other folks from Tucson will come on and give us some (lots) of info on this expansion.

To the top for a great place to shoot........

    Well lets see.

51 traps, 15 of them permement skeet overlays, so of coarse 15 skeet fields, 5 bunker traps, and 2 right now full sportingclays set up's.

Al - so you are saying they are adding 26 additional traps that will include the 15 skeet overlays? The skeet fields look great. The entire project looks great and really moving along nicely. Five per post at the Spring Grand will be delightful!

And, thanks also to the Tucson Trap & Skeet Board of Directors for the many months and hours spent in meetings with county/city officials to get the land rezoned, AND, then, the many months spent hammering out a contract with the county on the lease arrangement for the land. This has been a long and ongoing effort by the Tucson Trap & Skeet Club. It's great to see it finally coming to fruition. For those who may not be aware, they will be hosting the ISSF World Club for Shotgun, March 23-31, 2012 where they will truly be on the world stage.
