I wound up buying an Optima battery. Now looking for a 50 lb. thrust trolling motor that hooks up to the back of the boat. Any suggestions?

    Mrskeet410 probably has about 200.

Minn-Kota has a lot of models, even one in camo. I have a 35 that is all I need. Plus there are parts everywhere.

For just general use I prefer Minn Kota's as they have a fiberglas shaft that is much more forgiving than the other brands. It is available in a 54 lb thrust and costs about $225.00 unfortunately it is only available with a 40 inch shaft. There are a couple of new brands that came out last year that have a 36 in steel shaft and 54 lb thrust for about the same price. Jackie B.
