    There are a few gauges available in the market. I'm only wanting to be sure my shotguns break at the same weight. Does any brand stand out - either as inferior or superior?

    Just as an FYI....I bought a nice electric/digital one, Lyman I believe, and it works great EXCEPT.......it won't give you any reading if you are checking a release to see what poundage it lets off at! For this I bought the old spring style from RCBS. It also works very well. Either is a good choice, in my humble opinion. I use them both frequently.
