I been seeing a lot of these tri star single bbl. trap guns lately. Anybody know anything about them. They don't look too bad, 34" with beretta style chokes. they are cheap less than 600.00

You will be far, far better off with a used Browning BT-99 or a used Remington 1100 Trap model.

I have one which I've spent a few dollars on to fit it to me (adjustable comb, butt pad, trigger shoe, and raised rib). It shoots where its pointed and hasn't hiccuped yet. The resale may never match a BT99, but I have no intention of selling it (or I wouldn't have bought it), all its characteristics are great for me, and I'm at half the price of a BT99 (even with what I spent to personalize it) with a 5 year warranty.
I have nothing negative to say about this gun and lots of praise for it.
