Oddly, he points to the NRA - acting in defense of the Constitution against perceived sedition as being treasonous.

Yet the very acts the NRA targets fit the true definition of treason by sedition.

And he is a profesor of journalism??

    Cat,

Could not have said it any better! Without using some very appropriate 4-letter words.

Swindell is a professor of journalism at Marshall University.

I linked to a web site that rates professors. Obviously Prof. Swindell has taken a turn toward the unpopular in the past couple of years.

Rather than teach journalism, perhaps Swindell should go back and take a few intro-to-Poli-Sci courses. He obviously doesn't understand the 2nd Amendment, and his vitriol toward the speakers at the NRA convention is unsurpassed!

    Best, Dennis

You would be surprised how many right here on this site are against part of the Constitution, and think those who defend it are treasonous.

Why don't we ask G777 if there are any other parts of the Constitution he thinks we should do away with?

This is hate speech, it is not protected by the first amendment. You might want to contact him at

    Dr. Chris Swindell
    Broadcast Journalism
    MU Report, Adviser
    Ph: (304) 696-2729
    Email: swindell@marshall.edu

If you want to indicate your disapproval of his rant to those who employ him you will want to contact.

    Dr. Stephen Kopp
    Office of the President
    Old Main 216
    One John Marshall Drive
    Huntington, WV 25755
    Ph: (304) 696-3977
    Email: president@marshall.edu

Certainly a public university needs to know that they employ someone who advocates Killing those who he disagrees with. This is not a first amendment issue it is hate speech.

Unfortunately this is just the tip of the iceberg of what those who go to college today are being subjected to. The liberals own the university system and their goal is to indoctrinate a new generation of anti second amendment liberals.

    BINGO!!

Still sending your kids to the "den"????

Been preaching it for decades! BUT people have always been slow to hear and slower to act. They what to see the "Good" come from giving the government all that tax money for a "free" and "great" education. SEE the results YET?

If you want a good example of the disconnect from rationalism of the left here's one for you. The same ideology that worships at the throne of education is busy destroying the economy and the job creators that are the reason for getting a good education in the first place.
