Name the games your club likes to play like buddy back up etc and how they are played. I'm trying to get more shooters interested in shooting games and think it would be fun for my club

It only works for us becasue one of our skeet fields is shared with the trap field, because of limited space. When shooting rounds of trap, we will break and play "SCRAP", and all it involves is shooting a 25 round of trap, but standing on the skeet stations. Each shooter gets 5 shots to hit the bird, and if not hit by the 5th shot, is out for that station. Last one to run out of shells wins the match. All shots are from beyond the 27 yard handicap distance to begin with, as the skeet stations paint is behind the 27 HC line, maybe only maybe a yard.

Buddy Backup sound like our "protections"...

We shoot a "Dove" which all targets come out of our middle trap and then we have eight stations over the three trap fields that are our shooting positions.

Hit and move on. Make three misses in rotation and move after the third miss. braggin rights to see who goes fathest on a box (or two). Options... done as a single on wobble mode, done as a fixed double (two hits, move two positions), done as a double on wobble mode.

We shoot an "Annie Oakley" for our Turkey Shoot... adding wobble mode "Gobble Wobble"...

We shoot "Sliders" to practice handicap... 19, 21, 23, 25, 27; move reverse and continue...

    regards all,

    Jay

If you have skeet/trap fields that are shared. Everyone starts with 25 rounds. Shots are taken from skeet stands 1, 3, 5, 7 Taking turnseveryone shoots until they break a bird fron 1 then moves to 2 and so on. . Last man with a round of ammo wins.

Follow the leader, first person picks a spot to shoot from (safely). Shoots until they break the bird. When everyone else shoots from that spot the second shooter in line picke the next spot to shoot from until only one shooter has a round left. Start with 25 rounds.

We pay club 3.00 and everyone kicks in 2.00 and the winner gets it all.

At our small club (2 trap fields) we play a game someone called "polish doubles". Pads or position marks are placed at the 16 yd. line laid out directly between the two fields. The traps are allowed to oscillate as normal. On the call, a target from each trap is released simultaneously. Lots of fun along with a lot of groans!. Lyle
