We expect final approval to occur next week, but in the meantime, please click the link above for a detailed video about The Trap App!

    For those who don't know:

The Trap App is the first mobile app for the trapshooting industry. Never before have you been able to record your scores, calculate averages and compare yourself to the competition all in the palm of your hand. It will be available on Android and Apple devices.

    Thanks,

    Dean

What the reason behind having a login for the app?

Is the information stored locally on the device or will we need to be connected to the internet to use it?

looking forward to giving it a try when its approved.

The login is visible only because in order to film the video, we had to record it on a computer. Not to worry.

You'll need to be connected to the internet in order to use the app, however.

This is exciting. I realized I was one who balked at the cost, but after realizing what all goes in to the development coupled with the convenience factor it is well worth the cost.

Thanks for your time and effort Dean to better the sport.

I think it's gonna be a great app and very useful for people who are mathematically challenged like me. I really like the ability to share to Facebook. Well done Dean!

Thanks everyone. It has been a lot of work and took several months, but will be well worth the wait. I'm very excited about this.

The app will be priced at $4.99 and based on what I know from Apple, it should be available later next week. That's barring any issues with them. Google will be available immediately after Apple's approval.

How do you transfer your scores and averages if you upgrade or move to a new device?

@Jim Brown - once you buy an Apple app, it transfers to any other device you own. I can't speak for Android though. However, at worst you'd have to download it again on your new Android device. The data will be saved.

@ScottEslick - each shoot you attend, you can enter your classification.

    Thanks,

    Dean

Thanks. We are still waiting on approval from the App Store. It is frustrating.
