Everytime I log on to trapshooters.com, my security advises that trapshooters.com contains a virus. Anyone else having a problem. It is the first time a virus has ever got by my firewall.

I get no notifications, I have to assume you guys might get it somewhere else.

I did have exploit:Java/CVE-2010-0840.AW removed on the 13th, and that's all.

Go to Trend Micro and have Housecall clean your puter. Excellent site.

It's a problem with AVG. They even once remopved essential windows files and caused a clients system not to boot.

I also have AVG and now get the message when I get on the site. Ironically, I have had AVG virus protection for over 6 months and am now just getting the messaqe.

Don't know who's fault it is but I have had no other issues with AVG and consider it a pretty good firewall.

AVG and McAfee both had instances where they identified a normal system file as a virus and quarantined it. Left the system unbootable. The fix was easy enough, but it should NEVER have happened. Seems like AVG may have another issue in this one. I've tried a handful of av software on this site and AVG is the only one to have an issue. It's a false positive.

Guess what, I get the AVG messages too . . . but I don't run AVG!

I have Avast, it hadn't "seen" anything wrong but I knew this must be some form of maleware so I set Avast for a deep boot scan on next boot.

Took almost 2 hours but it found several infections and I have had no problems since.

Maybe AVG and McAfee are both owned by anti gun advocates and its their way of gun control......lol

Try Webroot, i have it and have had no problems at all

I had it on my laptop but not my tower. I use AVG on both. Had it checked on both machines by a PC doctoring outfit. They say now OK.
