Several months ago I posted that my former husband, Don is ill with pancreatic
cancer. Need your prayers and would like to ask that you all shower him with
birthday cards inasmuch as his birthday is 4-26-10. I'm sure if these cards
are mailed to arrive before or on 4-26-10, he would be thrilled.

Thank you in advance for your kindness.

A card is on the way. I wish a speedy recovery for Don and let him know that trapshooters from around country wish him well. Oh, and of course . . . "Happy Birthday" to you Don.

Thanks to all of you, Don was so pleased and surprised to see the cards raining
down through his mail slot in his garage. He was heard to mutter "What the"
when greeted with shower of cards. Friends and family were over for cake and
ice cream and the standard roar of stories being told throughout the day -
actual war stories, and of course, the trap shooting stories covering from the
    late 1960'a until now.

Don confided to me that he truly realizes that trapshooting has not only been his favorite all consuming sport throughout these many years, but that the trapshooters all over are a family and share a very special connection.

Truly hope that the youth coming on will appreciate and carry on the trapshooting banner as they march through this short life.

Good shooting to all and so long until we meet at another trapshoot!!
