My club is planning to build two new traphouses, and I am gathering plan information. I went to range info. org and found drawings for pitted and non pitted houses, but the outside dimensions differ from ATA rules re-printed 2006. ATA calls for min. 7'6" max. 9'6" outside and 2'2" - 3'0" above #3 station. Drawings say min. 7'6" max. 8'6" and 2'2" - 2'10" above #3. Which is correct? Also, is there a required distance between two traphouses?

    Thanks In Advance,

Concerning the measurements either will do. The ATA range is greater than range info.org drawings. The ATA range is the "law".

I don't remember seeing anything about distances between traps. I would say the farther the better to mitigate over calls, yet not too far. 8)
