On a Remeington 1100 Trap what does the (T) after trap indicate about the gun? i own one from the early 70's and never asked the question before.

The "T" is for Tournament. The Tournament grade was the higher grade of the regular production run of Remington 1100 trap guns. The stocks were usually highly figured with cut checkering not the pressed "checkering" of the regular run of guns.
