1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

    There are two components to the cost of a custome stock --- the price of the wood and the cost of labor. Given that, I'd say Phil Simms --- not only does he do great work (both shaping a stock but also checkering) but he has his own saw mill and has some control over the cost of his wood.... plus Phil's a straight-up guy.

    Paul Hiller located in Hudson Iowa. Has a large selection of various wood and does a very nice job. I didnt think his prices were out of line with other stockmakers. lots of labor in making the final product..
