    Hi,
I am going to the Ft. Lauderdale area for a couple of weeks to see a friend. I would like to shoot some clay games down there, but don't want the hassle of flying with a gun (and I don't have an airline suitable case). One of the clubs I emailed said they don't know anyone who rents guns down there.
Anybody have any info on Shotgun rentals in that area?

There are no gun rentals in the area. The closest place to shoot trap, skeet, sporting clays in the Ft. Lauderdale area would be Markham Park in Sunrise. As an FYI here's what the Markham Park range looks like. Also you should be prepared for a bit of sticker shock as it's $8.50 a flight of 25 targets.

Well, the price is a moot point then, as I won't have a gun.
    Thanks

    Running Bear,

I don't know what you consider a long way but Markham Park is 15 miles from the Ft. Lauderdale airport as a referance point. It's a straight shot west on I-595.
