Does anyone produce a trap shooters calendar ?

Something truly in calendar form that shows every ATA shoot in the entire country ?

Of course, there are lists of trap shoots in Trap & Field and one can do searches on the ATA website.

But a calendar would be nice.

It could have the All-American team pictures on it.

Or pictures of trap guns or trap ranges.

    Or broken clay targets.

Or words of wisdom by great trap shooters.

I think you have hit on a very good idea ... I would no doubt have to have one ... Keep us posted if you come up with anything ... You could have one with pictures of the Clubs, another of shooters, and the third one of trap guns, another one with all of the good looking score keepers ... I'll take one of each ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Rapid City gun club had some nice ones on display this last weekend. You might contact them.

There are days with a hundred shoots. How big would each day have to be?

There is another problem. There would be a lot of changes and cancelations and additions after it had been printed. Maybe they could break it down in zones to simplify. It sounds like a great idea with some tweaking.

Other than men's wrestling, and weight lifting, trap shooters are the least desirable looking sportsman I can think of. I'd rather see shotguns only in the calendar.

If you must put shooters in the picture, make sure at least they look similar to this kind, Please.

Forget it, you'll never find 12 of these in the ATA history. LOL

JBBOR. That is what the Wisconsin calendar looks like. But how will you fit 75 shoots in one square for each date?

    .

Another vote for the ability to search ATA website for registered shoots by mileage radius from any point and date.

I think the OP is looking for shooting dates, not pin ups.

    I like cleavage however.

Rick Barker we have that. Click on 'shoots near me' on the right side of the ATA website.

    .

"Shoots near me" doesn't seem to work for me.

No matter what I set, it looks for zero miles.

The ATA hall of fame made and sold them a few years ago.

Winfield Galleries makes a nice calendar with Winchester artwork. My wife always gets me one for Christmas and I write in all the shoots I might want to attend

The ATA Hall of Fame calenders that Pat refers to were really nice if you are into trapshooting nostalgia. No explanation as to why they quit doing it but I suppose not enough people bought them to justify making them.

The calendars that were at the Gold Shoot at the Rapid City Trap Club are being sold as a fundraiser for the South Dakota State Trapshooting Assn.

We aren't able to print shoot dates on them (except for the SD State shoot in July) because we have to have them printed before the shoot dates are all set.

We are selling the calendars to help with trophy costs for the SD State shoot. We are awarding one gun or cash (half the value of the gun) per week in 2014, plus a bonus gun to be drawn on July 4th this year... so you have the chance to win 53 guns over the entire year. Your name goes back into the drawing even if you are a winner!

The calendars are $40.00 each. If you are interested, please contact me and I will make sure you are in on all of the fun for next year! Winners are called directly, and also posted on our website www.sdtrapshooting.com, and posted on our Facebook page.

Thanks in advance for your support!

    SDSTA secretary/ trophy chairman
