Browning gave them away at last years Grand. I had a black one and a real snazzy Gold one. They both ended up on my sons Ford Ranger.

Funny...for 20+ years i've transported guns from hunting and shooting. I have never had my vehicle broken into nor stolen. I have never had a gun stolen either. Must be doing something right. I don't leave 'em in the vehicle.

It could happen tomorrow but i won't live paranoid worrying about it.

Here we go with the "crooks". I knew it before I even opened this thread. Don't leave guns in your vehicle, you wont have a problem. Some people think I am paranoid, ha!

I once had a "Powered by Winchester" sticker on the rear window of my camper shell. It helped me align backing up to the travel trailer. At the Canadian border, I was asked what "Winchester Arms" I had onboard. I suggested that she re-read the sticker. One time I wore a "University of Smith and Wesson" sweatshirt on my job to work..as a school psychologist. It was casual Friday. The principal asked me where I got it, she was a bit annoyed. I told her (a lie) that "my auntie brought it back to me from a small college back east that some of us in the family attended."

Ah, some poeple just look for a snivel. I never did like that principal, I was at the school on loan to finish some back up work that somebody left in limbo, and I wanted her to leave me alone. After the sweatshirt deal, she did.

IMO, gun/shooting sports stickers so often create negative valences/responses. I've taken all that stuff off of my truck. Maybe I can find something that says "I'd rather be playing bridge"...or something like that.

A woman FBI agent stopped me in the clinic parking lot and wanted to know where I got my "AA 12GA" hitch cover. She was hot, even in her suit.
