Just wondering if other clubs insure their trap machines and what a fair yearly premium would be. (new PAT trap)Thanks, Roger

The Yreka Clay Bird Club insures their trap machines against vandalism. I'm not sure what the premiums are. I do know when we simply carried liability insurance, the premiums were about $950/year. This was in 2002. When we changed the policy to insure the clubhouse, trap machines (2), and lights our premiums increase to about $2000/year. Bobk

Roger; Your first step would be to call your agent. The rate should be the same as other club personal property. Your question is one that can't be answered on this site because rates vary to much by location.

flyby; I would check on adding theft as machines are being stolen from trap houses.
