    Trap gun selling definitions

Real target crusher = It is for someone, but not for me.

Ported barrel = I believed all the hype and the only thing it lightened was my pocketbook.

Recoil reducer = I spent $400+ on this recoil reducer instead of having a proper fitting done.

Release trigger = I shot a poor fitting gun / model 12 for so long, I now have an incurable flinch.

Morgan pad adjuster = I tried to make my gun fit better, but didn’t have enough money to do it right.

Barrel has been choke tubed = I just couldn’t leave well enough alone.

HiViz sight added = I’m looking at the wrong thing.

Like new only a couple of rounds shot through it = That was yesterday when I couldn’t hit anything so I’m gonna sell it. It really has about 3,000 registered targets and lord only knows how many practice.

Spectacular factory wood = The wood grain is only straight for a couple of inches.

Unaltered = Except for the lengthened forcing cones, ported barrel, and Morgan pad adjuster.

Better than new = I had factory upgrades done by the aftermarket for half the price.

Very rare gun/Don’t see ‘em like this = Only until you go to the club and see a dozen just like it.

Soft comb = The gun fits so poorly I had to do this so I wouldn’t bruise my cheek.

Soft shooter = This gun really fits me, but I’m selling to buy a P/K gun.

Adjustable rib and adjustable comb shot very little = I’ve shot an 870/Model 12 for so long I have no idea what all this stuff is for.

Upgraded/Custom wood = I changed the recoil pad, had an adjustable comb installed, and used some Pledge to shine it up.

Great game gun = It must be as 3 or 4 of the guys that win at the club shoot one.

Locks up tight = Open it's as loose as a goose.

Just rebuilt = That's what the guy told me when I bought it 5 years ago.

Just back from annual service = they told me it was on its last leg...letting it die in your hands

Just sits in my safe = because I'm afraid it will break again if I shoot it

Not bad shape for its age = beat to death

Bought it just a year ago = now up for sale to the next sucker

Bought it for my wife = divorce sale

Custom contoured stock = butchered and mutilated

    Reblued = can't see any markings, but I think it's a Perazzi

________ that doesn't affect functioning = but gosh it's ugly

This is as low as I go on the price = unless it still doesn't sell

In case with tools and papers = I never said they were original to the gun

Outstanding custom paint job: You'll need a pimp suit to shoot it.

Mint 32" barrels: They were just reamed by the guy down the street with a hand drill.
