I have a question: When I look at results from shoots in T&F and I see something like this: "Mel Bupkis cy 49 over Iver Biggin 48"...what does 'cy' mean? I'm figuring that 'sh' means shoot-off, but I can't figure out 'cy' Is it a coin toss?

    Thanks.

    CY is Carry over
    CT is Coin Toss
    FF is Forfeit

I am sure there are more.

    Carry Over? From what?

I hate to be ignorant, but I'm good at it.

Some larger shoots will take the ties and carry them over to the next days events instead of having shootoffs each day. It is then decided in the next event of the same kind.
