Are there any really active trap clubs shooting three or more times a week near the eastern TN/NC border? JRM

Check out the link. Not sure how close you are to Boone. Other clubs I'm not sure about.

There are several, but they mostly shoot afternoons 3 times a week:
Hog Heaven, 1 mile north of I-40, exit 426. Beautiful, and wonderful people owners, but not very busy.
Buncombe County Wildlife Club, south of Asheville, NC. afternoons, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Smaller club, but very active and friendly. Also has a 5 stand.
Morristown, TN..don't know anything about it.
If you are staying anywhere near Asheville, NC, Spartanburg SC is a great choice. Active, lots of fields, trap skeet and Sporting Clays.
