What are the average yardage for the birds at 16 and 27 yards total distance when shot?

consensus of opinion seems to hover around 34 yards for single and 42 yards for doubles.

Just my opinion but if you add 20yds to the place where you shoot from you'll be very close. So it would be 36yds from the 16 and 47yds from the 27. Lots of variables such as a slow shooter-vs-a faster shooter, etc, etc.
