Our club shoots steel, so we need special wads to protect the barrel from the shot. We've ordered 36 cases from a mfr in Denmark. The Bill of Lading came the other day with the name of the ship. Googled it and came up with a way to track the progress of the ship. Pretty neat.

Looks like it's docked in Montreal (larger dot). 10 days dock to dock.

I hope their navigation was better than their reporting...

They list the vessel as being at coords N 45°30', W 073°24'

Stick that into a Google Earth address box and it comes up smack in the middle of a school building roof next to a baseball field.

How do you know which one is correct?

" How do you know which one is correct?"

Open the "Ship Positions" link on the right side of the page posted above. At 1415 Sunday 13 April, the Toronto Express (AWS) is the second vessel listed. She was reported to be N 45°30', W 073°24' at 0000 UTC (GMT) on 12 April.

Paste those coords into the Google Earth search box.

El Capitan - Maybe Google is wrong. How do you know Google is right and the ship tracker is wrong? Maybe we need a third party to check against. Does Google Earth even work over water? All we really care about is that the ship has arrived.

Overland is a black hole. It will arrive one day and we'll have about 10 days to pick up our stuff.

Know of anybody who might mold us a simple one piece, no cushion wad? I'll post some pictures soon.

In spite of the inaccuracy the wads made it to our club garage just today.
