I must have missed something. Mike Hampton is the tournament director for the Grand American. When did this happen?

ok it was the 2nd of April I knew but I would never tell the source even if I was tortured and my finger nails and teeth was all pulled out.

Sometimes Neil ... even the ATA can do something positive.

BTW ... you are aware that as long as you do what your supposed to do as a shooter even you can smoke them from the 27yd line with a tail wind and a 7/8ox load of shot.

"Greed is good" - - hope this addition to ATA operations can make the trains run on time, so to speak.

If I understand it correctly, Hampton brought 10s of Millions of dollars into NSSA/NSCA/NSC, and was given one or two of those millions upon his leaving. The NSC is very wealthy today because of him. If he can do the same for the ATA I would say more power to him.

    Regarding Mike Hamptons retirement wealth:

Does anyone out there understand that the NSSA-NSCA has a 2.5million dollar life insurance policy on Mr. Hampton that upon his demise will more than repay his actual retirement package!!

Isnt it a shame that the ATA couldnt have had Mr. Mike Hampton for the last 15 years???

The membership and financial records of NSSA-NSCA speak for themselves.

I've known Mike for many many years. I have nothing but the upmost respect and confidence in his ability to direct the ATA. This is the step that has been needed for many years.

    Now lets enjoy......

I don't believe they have as of this date. However from all I have heard they should hire Mr. Hampton, if he would be willing to accept the position, and then give him the power to run this organization. He produces results. Something we have been lacking for years. - Jim
