torn liner in canvas take down case - fixable?

    it's where the end of the receiver get's crammed way up in there. both sides of the liner are torn but i can't get up in there with a needle and thread. what do you do to salvage an otherwise very serviceable boyt? duct tape? thanks

    Could try injecting glue through a syringe to the case. jc

    I don't know how you fix it but i know how to prevent it. I had a Cabelas copy of that same case. I used the silicone gun socks and then slid it in the case with those on. The sock helped to prevent the sharp edges on the rib and such from cutting the lining. They make all different lengths of those socks including one made just for the reciever. Got mine at Gamaliels.

    While it may be consider "wear and tear"... if you feel that it wore prematurely... call Boyt Customer Service and speak with them... possibly they might work with you to repair and/or replace on a favorable basis...
