My findings on the top guns hulls is that they make good filler in a trash can!!!! I tried 3 different wads, 1 oz and 1 1/8 with no luck, throw them away and save yourself the frustration, I did!!! Gun clubs are 10x the hull of a top gun!!!!

The Downrange XXL Orange wad works great for me.

I have no problem with the CB 12SO clone, and 17.5 of Promo.

I've been reloading the Top Guns (and Estates) just like I do the premium Gold Medal hulls. I have reloaded 1 oz., 1-1/8 oz. and 1-1/4 oz., all with very good results. I have primarily used Federal wads but have used the Claybuster clones with excellent results.

    Have at it!!

CB-6100 works best for me in those straight wall hulls.

Make sure the precrimp station closes the crimp to about the size of a #2 wood pencil. I've used Federal and Claybuster 12S0 wads with various powders with good results.

Components are irrelevant to the hole in the crimp. You are forming a case to a specific length. Lower the pre-crimp die till the hole disappears. I pre-crimp down to apx 1/8" hole. Once the machine is adjusted to form a specific length case then use the proper components to fill the space.

CB-4100 I've used them with 19.5-20.5 of red dot and broke anything from sporting clays to 3rd mans shot in a buddy shoot.
