That would be about right from what I've seen... Although, I see a lot of 391's being used...and Kruger and Liske shoot K-guns...

#1 Beretta gas gun (303-390-391), for sure. Blasser hasn't been around long enough to have any kind of following, Johny come lately.

Mossberg pretty much lost their popularity when the poly-choke was replaced with screw-in tubes.

I think most clays shooters aren't serious enough about the game to shoot K-guns; but I've seen top shooters with K-80's. In these parts there's a lot of 525's, and for good reason. break 'em all.

I see a lot, and I mean a lot, of Beretta's. These are mainly 391's and 680 series guns. This is mainly at the club level as I seldom have time to get away for more than one day to shoot (most big sporting events are 2 day shoots).

The one big sporting event I attended last year still had a lot of Beretta's, but there was also the higher end guns that one would expect.

It's amazing to watch those Master Class shooters and their ability to read a target presentation.

"wonder how they compiled the data"
Well, it couldn't have come from numbers in use.
Sounds like someone's personal wish list to me.

Hey, I wouldn't say YouTube is ANY kind of "authority" on trap guns....

The post says "for shooting clay targets". It does not say "for trap".

The assumption here was sporting clays, hence my answer. I'll add, very few side by sides, unless someone hauls out an old mod 21, and some Baretta, but mostly Browning 525 Sporting. (South Central PA) I haven't seen a pump gun yet, and every so often an 1100.

Go figure

    #6 k-80
    #9 CG
They are listed. What I see in trap Beretta, Browning and Krieghoff seam to be the most shot brands of gun. Yes there a lot of other. Up and comming would be a CG.
Sporting clays again Beretta abd Browning top the list. But Perazzi is giving then a run for there money. Then you have a great mix of other top brands of guns out there.
