How cold is too cold to shoot?---It's 32* here and 11:30---I was all set to go and went out and felt the nip of morning air---Had my Britney with me---I took one look at him and looked back at the cabin and well I'm back in the cabin.
Maybe nxt week---Must be getting old---I can remember duck hunting in worse weather and couldn't wait for the morning flight---George@SJB---

In New Jersey it has been cold for about a week. Last Sunday we hunting in almost 70 degrees today it is 36 and hunting has ended for the season. I started to build some Quail feeders but it's even too cold to work outside. Supposed, to continue through this week.

Still got 100% deep snow cover here in northeast Montana, overcast sky 15* at nite/20* during the day, just getting a good start calving. Appears to be a huge arctic high pressure dome centered about on the border between Ontario & Manitoba causing this along with steady 15-25 mph east upslope winds with light snow and occassional moderate blowing snow. I s'pect these conditions will persist until the @#$% high pressure dome weakens allowing warm pacific air to migrate eastward.

    Oops, sorry 'bout that Pierre,

Guess I'm not too familiar with "down east" as you guys call it, eh? Thank's for the correction, I'll edit it.

I was going to attend a shoot in Nevada last weekend, I looked at the forecast and it was 25 to 40 mph winds with gusts to 60 and I decided to stay home. I'm getting to old for that stuff.

We did a -5 day this winter in Sackets Harbor too. Add a little wind chill & WOW! Never too cold to shoot, guns will always go bang.

Pierre has the typical Eastern Canada mentality. Back there they think that Canada ends at the western border of Ontario, and the Maritime provinces are just lobster farms.
