We had our Summer League shoot offs today at my local club, Tompkins County Fish and Game, in Lansing/Ithaca, NY. This was my first summer shooting at Tompkins County... and as is my custom, I snapped some pics.

Now, I don't remember everyone's name--so, for those of you I shoot with, please don't take offense. :)

The Skeet League shoot offs were today as well... this is a shot from the northern most skeet field.

Tony making one of many trips back and forth from the trap. Tony, Robin and myself got the trap fixed after the first squad... but I couldn't resist including this shot...

The amazing thing about this guy is he shoots skeet with this pump... and boy is he fast with the action! As a result, when he shoots trap, he ejects the shell as soon as the lead flies... it really is something to see.

    Warning Label:

What follows are pictures of the Skeet Shoot offs that ran concurrent to our Trap Shoot offs... if you hold an aversion to this discipline of clays, or if you specifically object to these photos being posted in a Trap thread, do not read any further!!!

Ok... for those of you who like guns and targets and pics...

No idea what his name is... but I like his call for the bird, his gun and his style.

Ahh... the Skeet Shooter again... doesn't he look much more comfortable in these pictures as opposed to the pics of him on the Trap field? (of course... I'm kidding)

Another of the club officers, Craig. He ran our leagues and cooked our delicious steaks today... thanks again for all your hard work...

Well... that's it. If you're ever in the area, we shoot from 4:30-dusk on Wednesday nights and 9am-til whenever they're done on Sunday mornings--two Trap Fields and Two Skeet... drop by and say hi.

All the best to the guys who ran the league... and the great group of folks I had the pleasure to shoot with these past 7 Wednesday nights.
