I had owned them both at the same time, Kx-5 hands down, although the tm-1 handles great, most times it kicks the snot out of most shooters, the KX has many more features on them that enhance ownership, adjustability, factory maintence and parts when seldom if ever needed, much less recoil, better factory bluing etc. incinerate em!

TM1, excellent balance, fast to the target, parts are easy to find, stock inter-changable in 2 minutes, drop out trigger for maintenance!

What ever floats your boat. I personnally prefer the Perazzi's, wether TM-1, TMX, or the MX-10. They just shoot better for me and the recoil seems less. BEN

If You can shoot a flat gun with no Adjustments for POA the Perazzi is a nice gun . The KX-5 is alittle newer alittle more Adjustable and just as good .

just recently sold an mx-15 for which I was offered a kx-5 on trade. I have shot 2 kx-5s and recently just bought a tm1, sent it off for a rib with my desired impact and also nickeled the receiver, this is easily done for around $2500 and you still have money left over compared to a kx-5, plus you have access to the trigger in seconds!!!

No offense meant to any Perazzi, but easy access to a KS/KX-5 trigger is a non-issue as there's so little chance (or history) of failure.

TrapshooterJoe & LittleRascal got it right - try the guns, forget all the other rhetoric - otherwise you may as well pick based upon Italian or German?!
