The push button on the end of the forearm has to be removed. This will allow the iron to come out. If you look on the underside of the iron you will see a small hole, push the button back and you will see a small screw through the hole. The screw has to be removed, this will allow the push button rod to come out and the iron can then be removed.I took a small screw driver and modified it to go into the hole, be careful you do not loose the screw.

The screw does not have to be completly removed. Loosen it just enough to allow the pin to come out. It is a bugger sometime to get back in if you take the screw completly out. Good luck.
