1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

34" TM1 barrel for sale. It is an older Ithaca vintage and has been sent to Briley to have choke tubes put in it. It comes with 3 tubes,.025,.028 and .031 chokes. The tubes are flush mounts, Barrel is in excellent condition other than on the rib just in front of the chamber. There are some spots where the blueing is off. It would probably need some minor fitting to fit on your reciver. I bought it to have the rib tapered like a special. I bought a special that has a very good barrel and I don't need this one. I would like to get 575 shipped to the lower 48. The pics should show what I am talking about on the rib. Thanks. Pice lowered to 520 shipped to lower 48.

What is the serial # of the barrel. Also, I lookede at the Briley site and could only find a listing for the .025 choke which I beleive is IM. Could you explain? Are these custom ordered and what is the equivelant, LF, F etc.........

    Thanks.

When you order tubes from Briley, They told me the flush mount tubes comes with your choice of 3 tubes. It is an older Ithaca vintage barrel. I can get you the serial number tomorrow night if you still need it. I would suggest calling Briley to ask on the chokes as far as Lf.Im etc. I do not know what each restriction is considered. Thanks.

    Jerry,

Great price on the TM1 barrel...can you post the bore diameter and let me know
if the forcing cones have been removed. Also, what series are the choke tubes.

    Smok'n Joe,
The tubes say S-54 on them. I beleive the bore is 740. We checked it at the gun club when I got the barrel. I hsve never shot it. I bought the Special and now have no need for the barrel. Thanks.

The .031 constriction choke would be considered Full

The .028 constriction choke tube would be considered Light Full

The .025 constriction choke tube would be considered Imp Mod

A .020 constriction choke tube would be considered MOD

If the barrel was back bored to .740 and had the forcing cone removed and the choke tubes and installation are as stated, the barrel is practically FREE. Clean up the freckles on the rib and you've got a steal...
