Titegroup load.

    Anyone try Titegroup in a 7/8s load?. Thought one could down load from a 1oz. Ive sent an e-mail to Hodgdon to see what they say.

    You could do it, but you might not get a complete burn. If you try i8 grains over a Chrony, let us know. And check the barrel for soot.

    I loaded 19 gr in a 24 gram load that was spicy, shot like crazy, and was CLEAN. The load was AA hull, Win primer, 19 gr Titegroup, and WAA12L wad behind 24 grams of 7 1/2.

    Hodgdon got back to me and said they don't recommend useing Titegroup for the 7/8s load. I shot a round with my load 18grs and #8 shot from the 25 yard line and broke 22. used STS hull, Remington primer and grey Winchester wad.

    Oh well, Krieghoff tells me not to shoot reloads in my '80's. LOL
