In Colorado, I heard of 2 young ladies ( possible JRs ) made the 27 in 1 season. 1 is on all american team and the other is on olympic team. Keep it going Dustin. Saw you did well at the Grand and must've got a punch yesterday! Bob

I kicked butt my first shoot with 97 in singles and handicap (in Amarillo wind) to win both; I had all kinds of people making sure I got punched. Beat both Neal Crausbay and Gary Sherrod that day. It took a few years to get to 27. AJ

You ought to make it by next Tuesday.

Hope it's easier for you than it was for me. I died on 22 for two frustrating years and moved back and forth twice before I finally started to figure it out. Got three yards this year and worked hard to get them. Getting closer. 27 yards is my goal for next year.

I still haven't made it to the 27 yet and have been shooting ATA for 5 years this month. I was stuck on the 22 1/2 for 2 1/2 years before finally getting a punch. I currently shoot from the 24 yard line, 3 yards to go.

12 or 13 months from the 20-27. A long time ago. A lot of shooting in Southern California.

I was kind of wondering the same thing. I got 3 punches in a shoot 2 weeks ago. Now I am sure things will slow down.

Got my first punch at 12 years old and made the 27 at age 14. So 2 years. I remember being on 22-23 yards most of that 2 years.

Always my fave subject (one of anyway). I began shooting in 87, got to the 26 in 3000 total targets in 88 and switched to a release trigger at Frank Little's urging. And there I sit today. I did get reduced and then back to the 26 and now I cannot break a singles score sufficient to warrant a punch at handicap. Bummer dude. So I live vicariously thru a few good friends that allow me to "shoot along". Perhaps a new gun will help... Hmmmm....

Just started ATA this year -- one punch to 21yds so far. Registered about 500 singles and same in HDCP; so, it's going to take awhile unless I start shooting a lot more registered shoots, which I hope to do in 2012. I would like to see the 24 or 25 yard line by this time next year....Cya

    Dustin:

Down worry about the punches, the wind, the girls or anything else. Just shoot the targets. Keep all of those other thoughts out of your head. When you hit enough they'll punch you.

I'm going to Springs tomorrow. Wanna buy some goose decoys? E-mail me if you're intersted. Same deal as before.

    Respectfully,

    Alex Ragulsky

5 years & 6 months to get to the 27 from the 20. 3 very cold years of that on the 25. (hit the wall right there)

Earl, quit changing guns. Get one gun that fits you and stick with this gun and you will get to the 27 yard line within one year. Good Luck. Tom
