While those most severely hit by "Sandy" may be unable to read and know of our concern, let's keep those folks in our thoughts and prayers as they mire through this challenging time...

    best regards all,

No communication with NYC, tried calling my sister all day land line and cell. Just busy signals or right to voice mail.

This is a major event. All of those affected are in our thoughts and prayers.
We have several crews working in the area on storm damage now.
This is going to be a massive clean up effort.

I've been trying to get in touch with my wife's Aunts on Staten Island. No go so far. Three older Italian widows. Two of them are over 90. We pray they are OK.

I'm on part time generator power since Monday at 7:30. Don't want to run it too much because I don't know when we'll be able to get more gas. I spent yesterday helping a neighbor cut up a tree that fell n his house. The house is warm enough now, so I can turn off the power for the night. Lot's of really big trees both cracked in half and completely blown over. Not a whole lot of rain here in north central Jersey.
