    I just thought Some might appreciate the efforts of another American Hero. For the life of me I can't understand why it took 13 years for this country to award him the Medal of Honor.

    In the early 1980`s I was able to attend a supper/lecture with my dad at the G.I.Forrum in Hutchinson Ks.Roy was the featured speaker.All I can say is this.That ticket my Father bought for me was one of the best things I have ever been given in my life.When Roy finished his 60 plus minute talk there was not a single dry eye in the place.We were able to shake his hand and pose for a picture I have framed...KS-OKIE...John Wiegand.
