We booked a hunt with Brad and Ann Dysinger at their Thorn Bottom Pheasant Farm. It was a great day for Dad, my Nephew Grant and I. Ann was our guide and she, along with the dogs, did a great job. The cover and ground that the Dysingers have is wonderful. They have a gun shop on site so we got to look at guns before the hunt. Aside from a couple misses, the day was just about perfect. I would recommend a hunt with Brad and Ann to anyone in driving distance to Grover Hill, Ohio.

A day with my Dad and my Nephew carrying my favorite shotgun, the Browning Double Automatic, what more can a guy ask for?

Yes it was a great day, beautiful weather, great dogs ( George & Oliver ), and two great guys to hunt with. Brad and Ann could not have been any more gracious. Her chili was great also. The terrian reminded me of Iowa and South Dakota. Brad said he would not tell anyone about my two misses!!!!

Ann always did most of the labor there. Brad was more of the "front office" guy there.

    Merry Christmas.

Thanks for the great reviews! It is always the most fun when you have safe hunters, GREAT shots (some were really tough shots)and gracious hunters. The scent was great and the snow was just the right amount. And I can see Grant having a exciting future in trapshooting. Thanks for hunting with us, you are welcome back anytime. Ann

The final result of the hunt. It did take at least one more "silver bullet" to finsih off these pheasants from Thorn Bottom. The breasts were cooked in cream of mushroom and served with a side of mashed potatoes and gb casserole. They were as good to eat as they were fun to hunt. Thanks to Grocery Guy for cooking them for me!

Glenn and Doug; You guys just had to get that IGA branded water bottle in the picture...you ole grocery guys just never give up promoting!!! Do you qualify for some Co-Op dollars with that beautiful photo??

Looks like a great time and I am sure one that Grant will not forget. Take care, Roger

Barry: Hope to see you back this way this upcoming shooting season-might want to be careful hanging around Zimmie!! Roger
